Seems that rural areas of Australia and isolated parts (hello Tasmania) react the most positively to touring bands. I manage a punk / rock band that at the moment play to maybe 50 or 100 or so around NSW, but go to Tas and bam. Full house. The boys have been there a few times (going again mid Aug) and every time the local reaction amazes me. These places have heart and soul and love visiting bands. Costs a little to get there but totally worth every penny (sorry - cent (pome). oh, and check the boys out if you're about. The Lazys. Go Tas!!

Great voice...you're right about their location though. Sometimes it's hard enough getting to Melbourne to see bands, let alone going all the way to Tassie!
