Gin Wigmore – ‘Hallelujah’

Upon further googling, Gin Wigmore turns out to be a more experienced songwriter than I originally thought. In 2004 at just the age of 18 she won the Grand Prize in the International Songwriting Competition with this song. It was written for her father who died of cancer, and it is pretty amazing for a then-18 year old to be able to capture her grief in such remarkably simple but mature goodbye.

Gin Wingmore is my absolute idol.
she has such a unique voice, that she uses to captavate her listeners, she intrigues many who listen and is one of the best singers i have herd in a long time.
now that the world of music is swaped by britney spears and the pussycat dolls and such things we need something musically great and in the very least nice to listen to, which gin covers completly.
