Little Birdy - “Brother”

Little Birdy have ditched the electro rock. Hooray! The new single “Brother” from their upcoming album Confetti sees them return to their alt-country beginnings, with acoustic guitars and duelling harmonicas courtesy of Paul Kelly. It starts out sounding a bit like that awful “Hey There Delilah” song, but redeems itself once the handclaps come in. I wonder who it’s about?

Little Birdy are handing out a free mp3 of “Brother” to anyone who signs up to their email list. Confetti is due out in May.

    Have to agree I’m more than happy they are back to their roots. So it seems with this number. I will defo be listening out for more to come.
    I must say though, it is nothing like that “awful” song Hey There Delilah. I happen to love that song, but Brother is not at all similar in any way shape or sound.

    love this song so much makes me think of my family,all what they done for me “thank’s for that sometimes we need reminding of theses things”.The soul in the lead singer voice wow
