Not since Bjork has an artist been so diverse in her vocal ability and music production. To me she kicks the shit out of Bjork’s catalogue. So eclectic, haunting, innovative, & skillful. I hope to one day see her in concert. She’s amazing!!!

Picked up a copy of “Some people have real problems” in a Starbucks in San Antonio TX; just extraordinary! Just seen Sia on TV in the UK….never heard on the radio….but then again Jools Holland’s show so often brings us “NEW” artists. Hard to believe “Little Black Sandals” never went mainstream here…..admittedly I rinse(overplay to the extreme) every song but my kids (wide age range) are all word perfect and still wanna hear it…….Hell, that’s a recipe for sucess.

Sia has an album before “Colour the Small One” called “Healing is Difficult”. It’s quite different to “Colour the Small One”, it’s less atmospheric but it’s still a great album. People may remember a song called “Drink to get Drunk” – the remix of which got a lot of airplay on JJJ. Well that was a Sia song and the original (and I think the remix too as a bonus track) can be found on “Healing is Difficult”.
