In case you’re new to the viral sensation that is Pogo, he’s a Perth-based electronic producer/composer most famous (y’know, “internet famous”) for cutting up clips from old Disney movies and turning them into songs. His work on Alice in Wonderland and Up was awesome, but his work includes remixes of Terminator 2, Dexter and the like. His YouTube channel is here, where you can find all of his fantastic work. Some of it rides along on the novelty factor, but other tunes are genuinely rad regardless of the origin of the samples.
His latest tune, ‘Wishery,’ is made up of syllables, chords and notes from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In less than a week, ‘Wishery’ has shot to the top of the Hype Machine charts and amassed over 1.2 million hits on YouTube. It rocks the same schtick we’re used to now from Pogo, but people clearly aren’t sick of it yet. Play the video below to see why people are jizzing over his latest tune.
