San Mei is the bedroom project for Gold Coast based Emily Hamilton. Sunshine, skateboarding and shiny melodies sung over drum-rolls and synth treats, layered with fresh production skills all sounding breezy yet dramatic. What an opening 15 seconds. The hope of youth. ‘Brighter’ is San Mei’s first official release following on from some earlier web posts. Recorded at home and then fine tuned at Little Pink studios to hone the vocal production. London label Tidal Wave will pimp the digital single on September 16th so get on it. hashtag Brighter.
