St. Helen’s – ‘Don’t Laugh’ (mp3)

I’ve been hearing Don’t Laugh a lot on the radio lately and although I wasn’t such a fan at first, I must say that I’ve begun to find myself singing along. The song is off Melbourne band St Helens’ just released debut album called Heavy Profession. The album interweaves haunting yet melodic vocals with great guitar work to come off with a rather eerie, slow paced, alternative sounding finished product. True Live – ‘TV’ (mp3)

True Live describe their album Found Lost as “classical music that ran away and joined the circus”. The Melbourne band who had great reviews for their debut LP ‘The Shape of It’ in 2006 are back with their first full length album and it doesn’t disappoint.
