‘In A Knot’ is the new single from the Ocean Party that is available as a free download and comes with a few B-sides as well. This track has a 90′s throwback to the Dinosaur Jr. era. There is something country about the deep vocals and a spoken verse/sweet melodic chorus sounds. ‘In A Knot’ has a warmth that feels familiar and a real catchy hook. The understated tone disguises the maturity of this band and I find this sound really comforting. The B-sides are well worth checking out too, in particular ‘Young Love’ which has a real dreamy peculiarity.
