Directed by film maker Campbell Hynam-Smith on a shoestring budget, this clip has some rather high cinematographic values, compared to most of the independent music videos floating around on YouTube. ‘Lookin’ Over My Shoulder’ is the new single from The Basics.

I caught these guys at The World Bar in Kings Cross and they rocked the joint. It was packed to the rafters and they performed exceptionally well. The sound was good but not great, but that’s not the band’s fault: it’s a PA issue.
They performed a slowed-down, more reggae version of this tune and it sounded great. But the highlight was their cover of New Kids on The Block’s ‘The Right Stuff’ that had everyone singing “oh-oh-whoa-oh-oh”. Good to see these guys playing so well and drawing good crowds.
Expect a possible tri-state Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane residency in April…

Yeah they did….I think they said that you guys posted Second Best on your site….and they wondered where you got it from. Apparently Kris doesn’t know it’s on The Basics site!
