Kate Miller-Heidke – ‘Words’
Apparently the folks on Sunrise are big fans. They took some time out from their heavy programming schedule to run a little advertising feature on the ex-opera singer from Brisbane and her inevitable forthcoming success. I myself didn’t need to actually hear the manic, warbling Kate Bush-wannabe tremors of this determinedly wacky pop poppet. Koshy’s recommendation was enough for me.

KMH is fantastic, i’ve been a fan of hers since i was back in grd 11 which is like…ohhh about 5 years ago?!
I am so glad that she is finally being recognised for the talent that she is!
I have got so many of my friends hooked on her but she is someone that you cant truly fall in love with the music of until you hve seen her live cos she is not just a singer/songwriter, shes a performer

I agree… =] Kate is awesome… im seeing her tomoz for the sydney festivale!
I was also a pre famous Kate fan scince she was on the whitlamas tour….(My guitar teacher recomended her)
She is a talented,individual, naturally diverse performer… which is rare these days.

so totally agree with both of you except for the having to see her perform i got hooked from a friend and now i am absolutely in love with her vioce
