Winter People – ‘My Town’ (mp3)

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 6 or above) is required to play this audio clip. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

With Arcade Fire in between albums, there are no shortage of local bands wanting to fill the gap for multi-instrumental multi-vocal indie-folk, and Surry Hills’ Winter People fit that description well. Out of the five tracks from their The Dog Years, ‘My Town’ resonates with me the most. I’ve yet to see them live, but if you’d like to join me, they’ll be playing whothehell.net’s own Blogger’s Delight on Friday 25th September at MUM @ World bar. Entry is FREE if you rsvp to the invite. And you can get an invite by joining our mailing list.
